Hello! Dianna here. I'm a professionally-trained baker, marketer, mom and the founder of Cult Crackers.
After a career in marketing, my love of baking brought me back to the kitchen, a place where I feel creative and at home.
I started making seeded crackers and realized that not only were they really good, but they were also really good for you. I soon learned that it takes more than just a good cracker recipe to build a business. I did it all from baking and packaging to washing dishes and mopping floors, all the while hustling my heart out to build a cracker company from scratch.
I decided that my company should also be a force for good, doing things with care and craft. I wanted to incorporate the values I learned growing up in a third-generation California farming family with the traditions of cooking and sharing good food.
At Cult Crackers, that means baking with just a handful of wholesome organic ingredients, packaging in recyclable pouches, being green certified, and paying my team a living wage with health benefits.
Though we're still a very small business, we've grown to a strong team of four women and we still mix, bake and package every batch of crackers by hand.
Our award-winning crackers are hand baked at the Berkeley Kitchens, a wonderful community of small food producers, in Berkeley, California.
You can find Cult Crackers in independent grocery stores across the country and our online store.
I love what I do, and that Cult Crackers nourish people in so many ways.
